Most wall openings can be supported with a single piece and for wider openings an insert member is added for additional strength. The patented system utilizes a clip that fastens to the vertical studs into which the ProXHeader member inserts and leaves a flush surface for the application of drywall.
Installation is vastly simplified and can even be accomplished with a single framer. As it is with traditional box header build-up, the need to measure, cut and fit several components is eliminated, there is no welding and far less screwing is required with ProXHeader. Material and labor costs are sharply reduced and construction productivity is increased.
